Ladies at Bardwell Valley Golf Club

We write on behalf of the Ladies at Bardwell Valley Golf Club to thank you for your generous donation to our annual Charity Day that was held on Monday 7th August 2017.

We would like to advise that we raised around $3500.00 on the day with approximately $3000 more having been raised during the year. As you are aware this money goes to the Spina Bifida Unit at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick.

Over the course of nearly twenty years we have raised close to $120,000 and have assisted with such purchases as wheelchairs, air beds, computers and medical equipment which has enabled the patients to have higher quality of life and ease the suffering a little for both them and their families. Much of the equipment is not covered by funded sources and the raising of funds such as ours enables them to purchase some of the above items that would otherwise be unattainable in many circumstances. Many of the families of sufferers have other children and are unable to afford these items, so any extra funds raised such as ours make such a difference to their lives.

We thank you wholeheartedly for your contribution towards the above goals it is much appreciated and we look forward to further association in the coming years.
