Women’s Competitions
1st of March sees the first round of the Women’s Golf NSW Medal and qualifying for the Knockout Championships. The Ladies Inter Bronze Competition commences on Monday 26 February when the Valley plays Botany at Woollahra. Bardwell Valley will be hosting the Ladies Inter Bronze Club Competition on Monday 26 March. Tee-off is at 8.00 with Bardwell Valley versus Randwick, then The Coast v Botany and last off is Woollahra v Eastlake. Good luck to our team and if you have time come down to support the team. Welcome to our new members from the Swingfit program who were presented with their personalised buckets – Sharon Law, Kathy Ferguson, Mary Doyle and Libby Sonntag.
Men’s Competitions – The Men’s knockout is well underway. The final round is on Saturday 10 March.
Super Sunday – is this Sunday 25 February – come along and participate.
Mixed Pennant – 2018 Mixed Pennant rounds are now complete. The Valley won all it’s home matches but unfortunately lost its away matches. We would like to wish Northbridge all the best for the play-offs.
Major Pennant – The third round is on Sunday 25 February against Randwick at the Valley. Tee-off is 9.00am so come along and support the team. The team had a good win against Campbelltown at home on 18 February. The third round is on 4 March at Randwick.
Cock of the Walk’ Championships – Well done to Bruce Alexander and Ed Yates for their win in this years Cock of the Walk Championships. Commiserations to the runners-up Dan and Michael Levy – better luck next year.

The first six months of the fixtures book is now available on the website which includes club and inter-club events. We are also looking to increase the number of reviews on google maps for Bardwell Valley so that we can be more prominent on google search. Write a review by using the following link. Trivia – is on Friday 2 March. Adan Ryan and Kim Monteforte will be our quiz masters for the night. The theme is Food. Trivia will start at 7.45 before the meat raffle. Gather your team, book a table, dine at Melo’s Bistro and have a fun night. See the posters displayed in the club and on Facebook.
Easter Cup – Don’t forget the Easter Cup will start at the end of March. Prizes will be awarded in different categories for the best 3 of 5 rounds.
The Course – Ross and his team of volunteers have continued to work to combat the harsh conditions with little rain and extreme heat. If you can spare some time to help the band of volunteers please contact Ross or Peter Weewan.
