Course Maintenance
As you would all realise we had to delay the works planned for the greens at the club due to the excessive rain. We hope to be able to reschedule the works in the next few weeks. Keep watching this space.
Don’t forget about our adopt a bunker initiative. Keep up the good work removing a weed per hole.
Major Pennant
Last Sunday, 12 March, our Major Pennant team played Asquith at the Valley and had a great win against a previously undefeated side. Great effort by all the team especially Nick Katholis who won 8 & 6 which was written up on the Golf NSW website. This Sunday, 19 March, the team plays Asquith at Asquith. If the team can win this week then they will win their section and go through to the playoffs. Good luck to Laurie McMartin (Manager) and the team. If you are available to caddy for a team member contact Laurie.
Knockout Championships
The Men’s semi-final will be played this weekend to decide who will play Peter Weewan in the final. Good luck to Ian and John.
The Ladies knockout semi-finals were delayed on Thursday 16 March due to the bad weather. Good luck to the final four, Anne, Val, Gai and Kerryn.
