Caterers

The new caterer, Peter Maltezos commences on Wednesday 22 February for lunch. Opening hours are displayed at the club. We hope to advertise the menu shortly. Come down and try out the new food.

Major Pennant

Congratulations to our Major Pennants team defeating Cammeray at the Valley 5½ to 1½. This Sunday 19 February they play Cammeray at Cammeray teeing off at 7.30am. Good luck to Laurie McMartin (Manager) and the team.

Mixed Pennant

Bankstown have decided not to play the last match this Sunday as Barnwell Park won the division. The Valley team will be celebrating their efforts by playing a fun competition this Sunday. Well done to the team for all their efforts.

Men’s Knockout

The second round of the Men’s Knockout will be played on Saturday 18 February. Good luck to the last 16 players.

Euchre and Darts

Euchre and Darts commences at 7.30 on Wednesdays. Come along and have some fun.

Course Maintenance

Volunteers are continuing to do a great job with only a small number on Mondays and Wednesdays in this heat. It’s great to see some members pulling out a weed per hole. All players are requested to take part in this ongoing effort. Monday 20 February weather permitting the greens will be aerated again as per the recommendation from the Golf NSW Agronomist.

Adopt a Bunker

A reminder we are still looking for more members to adopt a bunker. A list of bunker is available beside the score input computers. Please participate.
Remove a weed

We are asking members to remove 1 weed per hole per round in either the fairway, green or rough. Please participate.
