Bardwell Valley Golf Club is hosting a Dan Williams Memorial Golf Day in memory of one of our best.

The day is to honour and remember Dan and to raise funds for Dementia Australia.

Dan was a great man, great friend and an asset to Bardwell Valley Golf Club. He was Club President for 3 years, Club Captain for 1 year.

Along with wife Karen he hosted many, many trivia nights, bringing 100s of people to the club on the first Friday of each month.

Dan managed club pennants team, represented the club as an A Grade player, played in Major, Masters, and Super Masters Mixed pennants teams. He volunteered with the Monday Crew, assisting with course maintenance – fixing pathways, coring greens, laying turf, anything he was asked to do he did.

Dan an all round great guy who always greeted you with a smile and his hearty laugh was awarded life membership in 2022, a very rewarding recipient.

Come along and help us celebrate and remember Dan who was a great assets to our club. The golf will be great, the stories we all hear will be better.
