Mark your calendars! Bardwell Valley Golf Club is holding a 2-Person Ambrose Golf Event on SUNDAY, 29th JUNE 2025.

2-person team – male pair / female pair. Team handicap for day – no less than 8. Maximum handicap difference 20 Normal green fee plus additional $5 (Golf NSW) SUNDAY 29 JUNE 2025

Everyone is welcome—members, guests, visitors, and social players alike.

The entry fee includes a round of golf and a hearty buffet lunch. It’s a shotgun start at 9:00 AM, so be sure to arrive by 8:30 AM to get settled.

After your round, head to the Bistro for a well-earned lunch and stick around to enjoy a drink or two. With a wide selection of food and beverages, it promises to be a fantastic day out on and off the course.

2 Person Ambrose – Explained:

1. Both players tee off. Each person hits a tee shot on every hole.

2. Choose the best shot. The team selects the better of the two shots.

3. Both play from that spot. The other player picks up their ball and moves it to the chosen position. Then both hit from there.

4. Repeat until the ball is holed. This continues for every shot until the hole is completed.

5. One score per hole. Only one team score is recorded per hole — the best result after using this method.

Handicap in 2 Person Ambrose:

Usually calculated as a combined fraction of both players’ handicaps.

A common method: ¼ of the combined handicap.

In your June 29 event:

– Minimum team handicap: 8

– Maximum difference between players’ handicaps: 20
