WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE VALLEY No 19

Volunteers Wanted For Course Maintenance

As mentioned in the last newsletter work on the greens started last week. Work will continue this week from Monday 21 August until the remaining 9 greens are completed. If you can spare a few hours to come and help it will be appreciated. Please let Peter Weewan, Bruce Alexander, Ross Forsythe or Greg Hoare know if you can help.

Members will notice a reconfiguration of the course with the 9th out of play until the newly seeded areas have germinated.

The condition of the course has worsened after since the high winds have brought down branches and twigs etc. Members can assist by collecting sticks etc on the ground and placing them at the next t-box to make it easier for the volunteers to collect.

Correction to Newsletter No 18
In the last newsletter we said the Events Committee raised the money for artificial grass for the centre of paths and the bridge – This should have been the Ladies Committee from their Autumn/Winter Fashion Parade. Apologies to the Ladies Committee.
