Two big Sundays in the Clubhouse
We have had two big Sundays for the Club and Bistro. Mother’s Day was a well-attended event with a great meal provided by Peter and Dimi.
Sunday 28 May was an even bigger day with a christening lunch for Dave Secheny’s son Austin, a 97th birthday party for Barry Voller’s mother, Masters’ Pennant and a good number of walk-in diners. Congratulations to Peter, Dimi and their staff in the Bistro and also the Club’s staff for doing another fabulous job ensuring everyone had a great time.
Masters’ Pennant
Our Masters’ Pennant team had a strong win, 5½ to 2, at home against Wallacia on Sunday 21 May – well done. Our next game is versus Carnarvon at Carnarvon on Sunday 28 May. Good luck team.
Ladies Events
Final round of the Ladies Foursomes is Thursday 25 May – currently Lynda Ritchie & Kerryn Coldrey are leading but hot on their heels are Marlene Hayward and Marilyn Joma. Foursomes can be a funny game where anything can (& often does) happen! Good luck to all our ladies who are competing.
The third Weekend of the Women’s Golf NSW Medal was won by Sue Ramsay (24) with 64 nett – well done Sue.
The Ladies 4BBB Stroke will be played on Thursday 8 & 15 June.
Christmas in July
Remember our annual Christmas in July function is on Saturday 15 July. There will be great food, live music and much more! Gather up you Christmas finery and come along for a great night.
Presentation Night for 2016 Champions
The Club’s Presentation night for 2016 Men’s and Mixed Champions will be held on Friday 21 July. Please ensure you keep this date free if you won one of the championships in 2016. If not come along and support the members who did win. More details will be advised shortly.
Trivia
The next trivia night will be on Friday 2 June. Steve and Lynda Ritchie are back running this trivia night. Come along for some fun. Please see the flyers in the clubhouse and also attached to this newsletter.
