WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE VALLEY No 21

Course Maintenance

Ross, has been putting a lot of hours and work into improving the course.  Ross and Greg Hoare sprayed all the greens to kill certain weeds and the dead patches on the greens are recovering quite well.  The course will need some consistent rain to keep the growth continuing.

Our volunteers are invited to attend presentation night, December 8, where we will show our appreciation of their efforts during the year. Members will notice the installation of artificial grass on the steeper paths is progressing.  More volunteers will ensure faster progress. If you can help please contact Peter Weewan.

Members may also notice the shade sail over the balcony is damaged. It will be fixed shortly.

Chick of the Walk

Congratulations to all our ladies who competed in the ‘Chick of the Walk’ this year.  Special well done for our champions, Kerryn Coldrey and Lynda Ritchie and also the runners-up Marilyn Joma and Wendy Donelan.
